Facial Trauma Treatment
We treat injuries to the mouth, teeth, jaw, facial nerves, and facial bones. Common types of facial injuries we treat include intraoral and facial lacerations, fractured jaws, and broken or knocked-out teeth. We also treat facial bone fractures.
TMJ Treatment
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders can cause pain, clicking sounds, headaches, teeth grinding, and jaw lock. After evaluating your temporomandibular joint and the surrounding facial structures and jaw, we can come up with a TMJ treatment plan. TMJ treatment can entail pain relieving medication, muscle relaxants, night guards, oral appliances, or in more serious cases, joint repair and surgery.
Bone Grafting
We perform bone grafting to stabilize the jawbone for dental implants. We also administer bone grafting to treat bone loss and repair jaw abnormalities.
Sleep Apnea Treatment
If you snore or fail to get restful sleep, you may be suffering from sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a disorder that causes lapses in breathing while a person sleeps. It occurs when the muscles in the back of the throat block the airway passage. Oral appliances can provide relief in minor cases. Jaw repositioning may be required in more serious cases.
